Apparently, "Anonymous" won't be accepting your friend request.

I didn't know Anonymous were Myspace users

I wouldn't shed a tear but I bet a lot of people will feel like this is a threat against their life.

A great way for anonymous to make enemies with those who would otherwise not care about their little adventures. When DDOSed PSN they backed of and apologized to the players for fear of a public outcry. Attacking Facebook would be 100 times worse.

this is going to be amusing....

Unless they can also back up and demonstrate their claims of FB selling user information.

So is Wayne securing the site by removing the 'Login w/ Facebook' option?

They're assuming people care. I don't, and that's because everything I put on there I intend to be public. Of course, I don't put my phone number and important stuff on there. I never had the belief that any of that info was "secure", not sure why anyone would. It's the nature of the beast. If you want privacy, stay off social networking sites.

I wouldn't be too sure, consider past breaches of security and the subsequent cries of disbelief that their info isn't secure.

There's still an enormous level of ignorance out there.
Everything on my account is public too - like you I won't put anything on the web that I have a problem with anyone else seeing.
That said, I've spoken to otherwise intelligent people, who see something like, "privacy settings" and accept it at face value.
