yesterday we had a family dinner. we celebrated my brother's fatherhood and recalled all the wonderful fathers/grandfathers who are no longer here but who's influence is still felt

Ya, I guess you could say that was my first fathers day (thanks Faethor). It was also my wedding day, so it'll be one of the most memorable father's days for sure. It was quite the weekend actually, I'll need the week to recover.
