Not long ago, presidential candidate Herman Cain made headlines when he said blacks were brainwashed for not considering conservative ideas. On other occasions he declared that racism was no longer a problem and blamed the poor for being poor.

Exactly. Chances are this trend will continue. Most people on the left believe anything their TV tells them. TV tells them that Cain is a bad man, so they believe Cain is a bad man. TV doesn't mention this horrendous scandal, so they believe the last information they heard about Jackson, that he is a hero and a champion of civil rights.
 
Otoh Cain is running for president and Jackson is not. There will clearly be more focus on Cain. And if you are a good conservative you don't want another stained dress.

Don't stain it on the Resolute Desk and don't lie to Congress about it and not may people on either side will care. Unless, of course, TV repeatedly tells them to care.
 
First Cain denied anything. Then he said there was the 1. It turned out to be more. Then he said there was no payoff. Only to discover there was bCain the said she was lying. Clearly he lied in an attempt to keep his poll numbers up

Because most people really don't even care if the dress DOES get stained on the Resolute Desk and they don't care if anyone lies about it to congress (as surveys showed) even IF TV and the media is constantly telling people to care. However, you can tell who the people were who liked to listen to what the media said because, even years after they are completely out of step with what the population as a whole thought about the issue back when the media and the GOP were trying to make it an issue.

Nor lie in sworn testimony in a Federal Court. That one should get anyone else jail time, but all it did was get his right to practice law in Federal Court revoked for five years. Privilege of being an Elite, I suppose.

Then why can't cops do that and keep their job, plus stay out of jail? Oh, they aren't elites, I forgot. One rule for the ruling class, a far different one then for the peons, right? I remember when it was announced that House of Reps impeached Clinton, I was at the firing range. The Lts that were there doing the in service training commented if that was any of us, we would be done, FDLE certificates revoked.

True it's a problem of the Elites! Imagine if the law told the cops they can't deal with drug dealers. Then the police formed a new group that works under their command to trade weapons to the drug dealers. -- And yet Reagan faced nothing for Iran-Contra where he did just that. Subverted the directions from Congress and did whatever he liked... Elites, Elites, Elites they come in all flavors.

Today a 4th woman has come forward with sexual harassment charges. I wonder if Coulter will continue to blame liberals because 'Republicans never bring up personal attacks like this'. :lol:

He spoke like a politician (yes, that's the same as lying) but he lied about something that he would never have been brought to court for if he wasn't Elite. Thing is he wasn't the "right" elite so other elites attacked him. The whole thing was political theatre rather than an exercise of law.

You know what would happen to me if I was caught banging a fat intern on my desk, during business hours? You know what would happen to most other workers in the USA? Why is it that a (D) President of the USA doesn't have to live by the same sort of ethics?

the reason I never did anything like this is because the idea is just plain creepy and I care deeply about my career. I don't care if no one finds out. I would know
