Ron Paul's Biggest Supporter Is A Bilderberger, International Financier

Thiel is also a member of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group, the elite, invitation-only conference that's the frequent subject of conspiracy theories.

they all are... get it right... ;)

Ron Paul is a useful idiot and is only in the race to make sure Obama wins re-election by splitting up the anti-Obama vote. Well worth the few million the Global Elites are spending on his campaign.

So this is the best you can do to defend Obama and his administration's crony capitalism that is in plain sight?

A. i dont defend it. i only say its better than the alternatives. B. He is there because the "elites" need a way to get the real "useful idiots" home addresses, and thereby a voluntary registration of (possible) gun ownership... and lets face it... if a few non gun owners end up on the list... who cares? there is gonna be lots of people on the list... half of us need to go...

Nobody cares. Romney IS Obama. So is Santorum. If they weren't they wouldn't get any press. They are pre-approved candidates and they will do as they are told once they win.

Now, let's have a look at the quotes from there that you didn't use.

Thiel shares, though, Paul's anti-government, and anti-Establishment, impulses. He has funded a prize to encourage talented students to drop out of college, and is a major supporter of the cause of "Seasteading," creating independent, water-borne cities free of national law.

and importantly

He's also a devoted libertarian ...

There have always been small government Republicans like Theil who are confident they can make it in a competitive environment, but most of the current GOP crop feel that there is more gain in being big government Republicans. When the Democrats write bills that put public money into the hands of rich Democratic supporters the Republicans moan because the money isn't going to their hands. The Democrats moan when the Republicans write bills to put public money into the pockets of rich Republicans. The problem is the same problem no matter which way round it goes - it's corruption plain and simple. Libertarians have the philosophy that if there wasn't a big pot of other people's money in government then politicians wouldn't be able to direct it to their friends. The position has some merit, but I don't think it's a complete solution.
