How do you contact Facebook?

Hi everyone

I'm (reluctantly) on Facebook to promote my iOS apps. I had an email today saying that suspicious activity had been detected and my account had been disabled. When I logged in I was shown a map with a pin somewhere in the US (can't remember where now, but I'm in England so it wasn't me) and a message saying that someone in that location had attempted to access my account.

What it didn't say was whether this attempt was actually successful. I want to contact Facebook to find out whether the attempt was successful or not, but their help centre is useless and does not include any method of contacting them. Does anyone know how I can send them a message?

Hi dude

Definitely not phishing. There were no links in the email and I logged in to Facebook by typing the URL into the address bar (I use it so infrequently that I don't even have it bookmarked!). The map with the access warning was shown after I had logged in, so it's definitely legit.

Yep, changed my password straight away. I've got everything private except for view only permissions for Friends(TM), and don't use Facebook apps. As far as I can tell nothing has been changed or posted, but I would like to be sure.

Yes they were. No doubt they will invent some absurd product-sponsored device as an alternative, thus inadvertently proving the point the film originally made
