The CBO says there's one certain way to acheive this let the Bush Tax cuts expire.

Of course I don't expect the 'fiscal responsibility' people to actually accept this.

(Sorry site doesn't seem to like url = in brackets?)

This Democratic legislation is part of the "doing nothing" projection to balance the budget
Physicians will see a 29.5 percent cut in their Medicare reimbursements come Jan. 1

Won't those Democrat enacted cuts to Medicare push grannie over the cliff in her wheelchair?

If you allow the Bush tax cuts to expire, the Obama "robust recovery" will expire too.

Fear of taxation is old and tired. We're told over and over again how active the economy will be if we just lower taxes. Yet Federal taxes are at their lowest point in the last 50 years. If the story of low taxes means jobs was true we'd have full employment. We can see throughout US history that periods of higher taxes have also been periods of higher employment. Trickle down should be buried with Reagan. Certainly this doesn't mean we should tax people outrageous amounts. This small change would restore taxes to where they were about a decade ago. Personally, I'd like to see them restored to pre-Reagan Era conditions.

"The wealthiest 400 people in America now own more wealth than the bottom 150 million Americans" -- Sen. Bernie Sanders. There's clearly a problem here that give those 400 more tax cuts ain't gonna fix.
