Who says it's silly? It's just not always possible or it has other drawbacks. I'm lucky to live in a place where electricity is cheap thanks to hydro-electric power plants. It's as clean as it gets, but the down side is that we flood large sections of land. Not a real big deal except for the few natives that happened to live there. But of course, not every place can do what we do. And likewise, not every place can benefit from windmill or solar or tidal or thermal energy sources either.and yet morons continue to argue that renewable energy is just 'silly'
