How's Your Week Going?

@metalman

... and your plan to fix it is what? Vote for Romney?

Hopefully one day you will realize that the only way to take down the oligarchs is for the people to get together and work together. You aren't willing to go there yet and perhaps you never will because it smacks of "socialism" and so long as the rulers can keep you afraid of "socialism" then they can continue to rule.

:lol:

What a crappy upcoming election. A slightly right of central Democratic who is falsely accused of being a liberal VS slightly more right leaning centralist who is falsely accused of being extreme-right. If it wasn't for the anti-gay agenda being foisted upon me by Republicans I wouldn't vote. Instead they guaranteed 1 more vote against their hatred and 1 more vote against their party. Had they STFU about their homophobia they probably would have had a 0 votes for either side.

No! My plan is to vote out the incompetent in charge.
It's called "Anybody but Obama."

At this point, I would vote for you, if you were on the ballot, just to get rid of him.
Even with your skewed views on how the world should work, it would be an improvement over someone like Obama who has absolutely no clue.

That's how bad Obama is. Now do you get it?:p

"Any Republican" works for me, since 3rd party candidates are just spoilers

No Democrat has won a state wide race since 1994 in Texas,
I'll vote for the Libertarian, if I don't like the Republican candidate.

My nephew is going to the Republican convention as a "Ron Paul" delegate

Yes. You are voting for Romney and that's your plan.
You are lazy and deserve to be governed by Mitt or Obama, either one. You r plan is the plan of the lazy and clueless. You and those like you are the reason that representative democracies don't work - think that voting for what they believe is the lesser of two evils is the same thing as fixing things. Even the Tea Party has a better plan than you do.

It's good to see that your nephew cares. Ron Paul is the only guy in it at the moment with a chance of changing the debate and changing the direction of the country. Imagine the debates - with Mitt and Obama it's two guys who agree on just about everything but they'll bicker about gays. It's hard to imagine anything that would have less effect on the country than whether gays can marry or not.

If, in a fantasy world, Ron Paul made in as the GOP candidate I wonder if the establishment media would still exclude him from debates or give him almost no time - would they just cancel debates or would they have to bring in the Libertarian and Green and Communist parties as well just so there was a big enough group on stage to put Ron Paul on the end of.

As it is you are happy to vote for Robama just so Obomney doesn't get in. you just like your Hope and Change to be Mormon flavoured.
