Apples are always greener on the other side ... or something.

So, is he still at home? How much rent are you charging?

The joke of the house at midnight last night was that he was getting booted, but it was all in play  He is at home. He graduated high school a couple months ago and will be starting college soon. No rent being charged, not as long as he is bettering himself.

He's freeloading on the system. A good capitalist would invite 3 of his friends over and have a bidding war for his room to the highest paying renter.

Yeesh - eighteen? Time marches on, eh?
Was he ever an Amiga fan? :hammer:

I'm still childless. I don't have any desire to change that, right enough.

Yeah, time marches on alright... He was never really an Amiga fan or a retro fan, he's too young to really know the Amiga except playing some games with me. He was born in 1992, so he was only 2 when Commodore went bankrupt. Strangely, my 2nd oldest son who is 14 is developing an interest in retro gaming. Of course to him retro gaming is Playstation 1, Gamecube, Dreamcast etc. He does like to play C64 games with me from time to time, so there is potential there :D

To each his own. I have a few good friends who have no plans to ever have children, while I have 4 and may have had more if finances were better.

I have only two, bit finances are the key. If I win more than a couple of million in the lottery I'm going to bring in a couple of new young wives get the kid count up a bit. My current wife is unaware of these plans and thinks that we will blow the money on trips and fine living - we will have to talk about that should the occasion arise.
