I had a fun thought... Need input..

Ok guys,

Was reading through the news on drudge, cnn, and other sites yesterday when I came across an interesting idea for a new site, similar, but more complete than whyzzat.com.

To that end, I was able to register a couple of domains and I want to know which you think would be more suitable (see poll).

My idea/intention is to create a web site, more like Amiga.org (full CMS with forums) than whyzzat where people can come in, post, then discuss the truly dumb news stories being posted every day. Stories such as the "11 year old arrested for doodling on desk" or "F-16's scrambled to escort passenger jet because someone didn't get the joke".

Not really a parody or (I forget the word) site, and definitely not like the onion, but real, dumb news stories that we see every day.

We post them here, true enough, but... whyzzat is just a forum and while I love the name, sometimes it's easier to start over with a more targeted idea.

Anyway, I was thinking about using the new vBulletin 4.0 CMS engine which combines both a Xoops style CMS with the excellent vbulletin forums.

Please let me know if you have input/ideas, and vote below as to which name you think would serve this project best...

I thought about that, and that's why I registered it, but I can't stop thinking that it feels a bit TOO tied in with CNN and couldn't really gather its own personality like whyzzat has..

Come to think of it, Fox News hates it when you link to their news articles. If you have to eliminate Fox News, then you'll lose out on the majority of dumb news....

Ah well, I can provide you with news about the newest extremely dumb "ambitious" projects our government are working on... can't think of a single project that was successfull :shock: (Betuwelijn, Zuiderzeelijn, Electronisch Patientendossier, ov-chipkaart, to name a few)
