You forgot to mention how much fun ebikes are. Seriously, they rock. I know, i tried one (mountain e-bike). They are so good I am considering buying one in the next few years once the technology matures. In particular the batteries are not good enough yet.

I agree with what you say except the last point in that e-bikes are vehicles. Remember you still have to pedal.

In most states bicycles are vehicles for purposes of traffic law, just exempt from having to have liability insurance and license tags
 
Just goes to proves what I have always said. Libertards in government don't care a flying sh*t about people or being green, They only care about CONTROL.
