On the one hand Iceland is going great on the human drama of sticking it to the bankers but on the other hand nature carries on not much caring about human affairs.
It seems like the volcanism of last year may merely be a prelude to much bigger things this year (or shortly thereafter).
The seemingly much more pronounceable and appropriately named Bardarbunga has been experiencing tremor swarms and could be a much bigger show than Eyjafjallajokull was.
