If it was happening in Iran or if it was happening in Venezuela or it was happening in a Russian aligned *stan then you can bet it would be topping the news headlines hour after hour and the Prez would be talking on the TV - but it ain't. It's Thailand.

So, with that out of the way, why do you suppose it is that there isn't much drama when Thailand shoots its protesters, but if it happened in those other places I mentioned it would dominate the news cycle?
 
Could it be because the liberals, Democrats and MSM, abandoned the far east after Vietnam. Embarrassment would be my guess.

I'd suspect it's more along the lines of why the US media ignored the anti-government protests in Georgia.
