Anyone seen the movie "Into the Wild"? The plot sounds interesting, well as interesting as a drama can sound. The down side, it is directed by an American traitor (Sean Penn).

Is it any good?

Kenneth Lay is a traitor

Bernard Madoff is a traitor

and so on......

not some irrelevant actor.

The DVD has been sat on top of my telly for about eight months but I never seem to have time to watch movies these days so it remains unopened.

Traitor? Really? Care to elaborate?

He met with Saddam prior to the invasion in an attempt to divert what has so far turned out to be a pointless war (something US diplomats should have been doing).

I'm no fan of Hugo Chavez (although I got a kick out of his anti Bush antics) but I don't believe that meeting with the man automatically makes you a traitor. Hugo himself isn't much of an enemy to the Us really, he's more of an annoyance to some Americans. Big whoop.

Not sure when that pic with Akbar Rafsanjani was taken, but he's at odds with Ahmadinejad and many consider him the real mastermind behind the recent Iranian protests. In fact, you should like him as he's advocated a free market economy and overall seems less openly hostile towards US interests in the Middle East (read: Israel). So I'm not sure why it's so bad for Sean Penn to be photographed next to him.
