is pepsi using flavor enhancers using cell lines taken from the kidney of an aborted fetus

mmm, yum! love me some 'baby' kidney juice !! :pint:

That's weird. Why would they need human cells for that? I'm somewhat skeptical for that very reason. Just seems odd.

I doubt that Pepsi (or Coke) would have anything as nutritious as fetal kidney cells in their products.

Yeah, really. Soda pop will eat the paint off a metal cabinet if one of the cans explodes and isn't cleaned up within the day it happens. How the heck are fetal kidney cells going to stand up to that environment? :D

I suspect the cells may be used to help synthesize the actual sweetener that is sold to Pepsi. I highly doubt actual cells are, themselves, a sweetener directly used in the final beverage.

i think its funny compared to some of the alarmist stuff i see here and occassionally post here... personally? pepsi suxxxx

So far, researchers using aborted fetal cell lines haven’t been able to cure paralysis or reverse the effects of Parkinson’s disease, but they may be able to make diet sodas taste better.

Impossible! I was yelled down by faethor, Robert and others when I stated cell research from aborted babies was ongoing. I was told I was a nut and this never happened and would never happened.

Really? I just thought that we didn't care ... because a fetus isn't a viable person and cells are just cells. We are much more interested in things that help living viable people. Making a better flavour for Pepsi is so laughable there is no nobility in it. But, then again, we kill children so we can drive bigger trucks - what the heck do we care about nobility.
