Israel kicks the Anglicans in the sack

Israel has accused Dawani of improperly selling property to Palestinians.

Alannis Morrisette must be kickinbg herself that she missed this one....

Shouldn't that be, Israel kicks AN Anglican in the sack?

I guess you could say that if a country decided that they wouldn't let your ambassador stay within their borders then it was only really the ambassador that was getting dissed. I suppose you could say that. Diplomatically speaking, though, whatever you do to a representative you do to the organization they represent because ... that's what representation means.

True, except here's the reason they're not renewing his visa:
The church says Israel has accused Dawani of improperly selling property to Palestinians.
Seems specific to one guy. Have the Anglicans tried to get a different "ambassador" into Israel? If that were the case and they were still denied then I might agree they have something against Anglicans. There's bound to be lots more to this case, but this article certainly isn't enough to convince me Israel hates Anglicans.

Well, putting aside the fact that "improperly selling property to Palestinians" means "selling property to Palestinians" ... the charge is probably cooked and the whole situation has more to do with this.
