I remember watching something about this on youtube a while back. A guy was just showing a video of his trading screen and you could see the bids and offers coming in in large numbers and then being withdrawn. But it isn't just one crooked party. It's more like that everyone who plays knows that it's no holds barred and each of the big parties is just trying to outsmart and scoop the other guys. In the end, large investors don't care if it's all crooked, they just want to have their money with the best performing crook.

It's not the kind of thing you want to depend on for your retirement though.
