Foam and fiberglass over a metal infrastructure. I'm surprised the fiberglass and foam didn't insulate it against lightning strikes, but hey, it is what it is...

"Touchdown Jesus" reminds me of the Huntsville landmark (Lee and Jim can testify) that we refer to as "Egg-beater Jesus" beneath the "Rocketship to God". Two separate landmarks, same church. One a huge mural, one the mega-church's steeple.
