Jetpack?

Neat! Curious to see what it goes for.

The engine specs are interesting:
Type: V4 two stroke
Displacement: 2.0 litre (122 cu in)
Bore: 89 mm (3.50 in)
Stroke: 79 mm (3.11 in)
Nominal Performance: 200 hp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: >180 ftlbs 3500-6000 rpm
Features:
- Sequential fuel injection
- Dual CDI Iginition
Generator: 360 W, 12V
Weight: 132 lbs (60 kg)

That's a lot of torque coming out of that 2.0L 4 banger. My H22a4 2.0L with VTEC puts out 200hp but around 160ftlbs of torque. But it's also a 4 stroke, so maybe a 2 stroke gives it more torque and hp? I doubt that engine has variable valve timing but it may have fewer emissions requirements (open exhaust?). And although they don't mention it specifically, that's a 30 Amp alternator that it has, which should be just fine as you won't have AC or a big stereo on that thing anyway although I wonder if it has night time lights? Although really, night vision goggles would be the ultimate accessory for this thing!! I could have a lot of fun terrifying the neighbors!

And the carbon fiber frame is cool, just don't ever crash it as you'll probably need to buy a new one.

And can it really hover at 8000ft, or am I misunderstanding something?

If I had the cash, I'd seriously consider one.

currently $100,000, and the first 10 units should be delivered sometime this year.

in most of their demos so far the jetpack has only been seen operating a foot or so off the ground.
