An Indiana school district might appeal a summary judgment that said it violated two students' First Amendment rights by punishing them for posting racy photos to social networking sites, the district's lawyer said.

Punishing students for what they do outside of school hours and off premises has long been a staple of educational establishments on both sides of the pond.

It's good to see it being stamped on at last, though sad that it has to go to court to deal with it.
