The law "compels physicians to advance an ideological agenda with which they may not agree, regardless of any medical necessity, and irrespective of whether the pregnant women wish to listen," Sparks wrote.

And there it is. The truth at last.

Interestingly Republicans are against the Gov mandated healthcare. Though that only stems to certain kinds of healthcare if it's anti-abortion in it's agenda then the Republicans are all pro-state mandates. Pathetic hypocrites.

the law are "unconstitutionally vague," and that it violates the First Amendment by compelling doctors and patients to engage in government-mandated speech.
imagine that! the guy understands the Constitution!!

the law would require women seeking an abortion in Texas to view a picture of the embryo or fetus and hear a description of its development before having the procedure.
guess what? If I had ever needed an abortion that decision was made long before it was required and looking at a picture of a fetus doesn't change my mind one Iota. I can not be guilted in doing what I KNOW is the right thing for me.

especially when I know the people that object to my having 100% control over my life are really pissed off that I ain't buying their fairy tales :finger: (first time I used THAT smilie)
