I remember that one. I wonder how he would feel about the millions of other innocent people the towers have killed since. The event has been a global tragedy.

Millions? I could see a few thousand that may have health issues afterwards that may or may not be linked to the toxins from the towers, but millions?

With Afghanistan and Iraq - yes, it's millions. Oh - but perhaps only Americans are people - in which case, forget I mentioned it.
This event destroyed American freedom and launched wars that had been stalled just waiting for a catalyzing event. It made a few people a lot of money but cost the majority of people much more.

I find it hard to believe that the heads of intelligence were merely incompetent, especially when such incompetence leads to promotions. I similarly find it hard to believe that the financial advisers and planners at the top are merely incompetent when, similarly, they all seem to do so well out of it. Success by failing has become so common place in certain circles it's hard not to imagine that the people who hand out the prizes actually wanted the failures in the first place.
