Los Angeles is set to unveil the Robert F. Kennedy K-12 school, with a price tag of -- get this -- $578 MILLION dollars, making it by far the most expensive school EVER BUILT.

I'm sure other schools, especially colleges, have grown their campus to be similar in value, but this is for a damned public school in a state that claims to be literally bankrupt...

Half a billion? That doesn't sound too bad. That's about the price of a condo in that neighbourhood (or at least it WAS about 3 years ago)
