Officials: Pacific Palisades Reservoir Was Closed and Empty When Los Angeles Wildfires Erupted

The Santa Ynez Reservoir is connected to the Los Angeles water supply system, and authorities said it was shut down for repairs at the time the fires erupted, “leaving a 117 million gallon water storage complex empty in the heart of the Palisades,” the newspaper reported on Friday.

Fire hydrants ran dry in Southern California just when they were needed most

It's the AP, so spin galore, but yes no water to fire hydrants.

Los Angeles cut $17.5M from fire department budget months before deadly fires

But of course they did.

Thousands of Los Angeles homeowners were dropped by their insurers before the Palisades Fire

They knew what was coming.

Oh a conspiracy theory you say? The fires are from mUh ClImAtE cHaNgE??

Homeless man with ‘flamethrower’ busted on suspicion of arson near LA’s Kenneth Fire after residents detain him

It's not one person and it's not "suspicion". There's video of many people starting fires on Twitter. The "homeless" man doesn't look homeless either. There's roving gangs of upwards of 100 people each setting fires and looting homes as soon as people flee them.

LA officials warn against looting amid fires, say 20 arrested so far

These gangs of people are said to be all illegal aliens. You know, the George Soros sponsored and funded illegal aliens?

But, but, these wonder elected DEMS are competent and will fix things, right?

There, I stayed with mainstream sources to start this. For more links, I need a part #2.

This is not a spoof and this is not a joke. This ladies and gentlemen, is you LA Assistant Fire Chief.

LAFD Assistant Fire Chief Kristine Larson says that if she has to carry your husband from a fire, it means “He got himself in the wrong place.”WTAF?

But the LA Mayor really, really cares despite slashing $17.5Mfrom the fire department budget, right? No, of course not. She took the opportunity to flee the US and visit Ghana in Africa.

Too smug to even reply. But wait, it gets worse when she finally bothers to return stateside.

"All of this can be found at URL.” WTF?

But savior of the Democrat Party will get to the bottom of all this right? At least why there's no water to the fire hydrants, which should be low hanging fruit, right?

Gavin Newsom says, "The local folks are going to figure that out." No Ownership. No Accountability. No Leadership.

I'm only barely scratching the surface. If you think "climate change" caused the fires and the Dem leadership is competent and compassionate, you may be a bit slow and touched in the head.

A post here from November 2018 on the subject with Trump calling out CA incompetence (being generous with words here):

Gov. Jerry Brown Quietly Admits Trump Was Right, Eases California Logging Rules

Gov. Jerry Brown Quietly Admits Trump Was Right, Eases California Logging Rules

This is a big change from two weeks ago, when Gov. Jerry Brown balked at President Donald Trump's suggestion that poor forestry and poor forest management might be to blame for the massive wildfires that ripped through northern and southern California earlier this month, claiming dozens of lives and tens of thousands of acres.

There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor,” the president tweeted while he was in France observing the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I. “Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!"

You may or may not remember, but the official talking points against orangemanbad was that he was a lithering idiot for wanting to "rake the forest". Trump was right in 2018 and Dems didn't learn, because they either don't want to learn (all planned), or they are the biggest blithering idiots on the planet.

A fish that is plentiful around the world, but is already extinct in this part of CA, is the excuse Gavin Newsom uses to divert billions(not millions) of gallons of water into the Pacific.

By the way, this is the plot of the movie Chinatown from 1974. Water for LA is diverted to the Pacific, to force people off their land so it could be bought pennies on the dollar.

Tons of big name celebrities have lost their homes. Unfortunately lessor known people have also lost everything. Larry 'Ler' LaLonde is probably a complete unknown to most. He was on Possessed's debut groundbreaking "Seven Churches" album, before moving to Primus in 1989 and having been with the band ever since.

Primus Guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde’s House Destroyed by Los Angeles Wildfire

Primus guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde has tragically lost his home to one of the Los Angeles wildfires, as reported by his bandmate, singer-bassist Les Claypool.

LaLonde’s home is one of thousands destroyed by the raging wildfires that have wreaked havoc all over Los Angeles county. While Claypool didn’t specify which of the fires was responsible for decimating LaLonde’s home, he did share a picture of the house burned completely to the ground, with only the fireplace and chimney still standing.

“All that is left of our good friend Ler Lalonde’s home,” wrote Claypool on Instagram. “When Mother Nature gets up on her hind legs, it can be brutal. My heart hurts for him and his family.”

I don't know exactly what he makes playing in Primus, but he's certainly not some major millionaire. He's probably in the same tax bracket as me. Hopefully he and his family can relocate and find happiness away from the train wreck that is CA. He's probably been there his whole life, he was born there, but time to flee.

This is why you never vote Democrat.

This is the crown jewel of the Democrat Party.

Recall effort against Newsom underway in California following alleged mishandling of LA fires

A recall attempt to knock California Gov. Gavin Newsom out of office is underway as he faces sharp criticism for his handling of the Los Angeles wildfires — with opponents labeling his leadership a “series of catastrophic failures.”

Organizers against Newsom vowed to file papers in the next two weeks in hopes of jumpstarting the process that could lead to the Democrat’s ouster in the middle of his second term in the governor’s mansion.

The state chief executive — along with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass — is fighting for his political life as the wildfires have torched more than 40,000 acres (62.5 square miles, almost three times the size of Manhattan), destroyed more than 12,000 structures and killed at least 24 people.

“Under the reign of Governor Newsom, living in California has become impossible for average people through years of poor policies which have increased the costs of living, increased crime, increased drug use and homelessness, increased the cost of burden [sic] on small businesses and communities, while decreasing our professional standards, education standards, the disappearance of billions of taxpayers’ dollars to failed pet programs, and our public services,” one recall organizer, Randy Economy, said
in a statement.
