You and I see government differently. You see it as something that is intrinsically evil it seems but I view it as a means for organizing society and in that sense it is merely a tool and is no more evil nor good than a tool such as a hammer which can be used for construction or destruction simply doing the bidding of whose hand it is in.
Because I understand human nature. It's very human for the most flawed individuals who crave total power to seek the highest positions over his people to rule them as he sees fit under his own rules. That is why government growth into a massive bureaucracy is alarming and should be ringing alarm bells through the fruited plains that something is going very wrong in Washington D.C.. They created a fourth pillar of govenrment that the US Founding Fathers never conceive of, a massive and unelected regulatory bureaucracy that has gotten into every inch of our lives without our permission. The creation of a perfect tyrannical government is nearly in place, just waiting for the wrong people to use it to enslave America. Yes, I see massive government growth and government control via regulations and laws that are so convoluted that only lawyers are able to maneuver about without violating enough laws to be put away in prison for decades. This is not what the US Founders wanted for us, they wanted us to be free and to achieve what each individual want to do without a massive government smothering us and controlling us from womb to the tomb.
This is what the Ron Paul campaign is all about and it has traction.
Wrong, he has failed. Ron Paul is only there as a useful idiot of the Global Elites to insure Romney won the GOP nomination and not a Tea Party conservative by drawing the libertarian leaning GOPers to his camp and starve the tea party conservatives for vote. Ron Paul, mission accomplished!
People like the idea of freedom and this movement presented such a threat to the elites that they set up the Tea Party to split people away from the Libertarian movement.
Wrong, Tea Party is hated by the Elites. Elites despise the Tea Party members and mock them at all cost. Had the Elites liked the Tea Party, Tea Party would be in full control of the GOP, which they are not, nor are they welcomed as we saw in the GOP Primaries. The Elites want their man, Romney to win and only way to do so is to smear the Tea Party conservative candidates with vile stories without merit and run a decoy candidate, Ron Paul. How else do you explain that the member of the Bilderberg Steering Committee was by far the largest donor to Ron Paul's only Super PAC?
I some how doubt you know very much about the internals of the GOP, being a Canadian Progressive.
Unfortunately the elites have managed to use the Tea Party to fool a lot of well intentioned people into helping them get their stooges into office. (You can tell the Tea Party isn't against the establishment because the police never tear gassed their protests).
Tea Party is a direct threat against the Elites. How could their plans succeed if the US isn't controlled by soft tyranny of a massive nanny state? Answer is, they can't. They have to have a massive nanny state to control 300+ million, they will just control the politicians and government.
Now you are pulling for an establishment elite like Romney instead of an outsider like Ron Paul just because he happens to agree with some of the ideas of Soros. If sharing some ideas with someone you don't like makes someone unelectable to you then why is Romney, who agrees with Obama on just about everything, OK in your book?
The Global Elites that you serve so well has starved me and my fellow Americans of any real choice to replace Obama with a true conservative which is needed to change the course the Global Elites has set for us. It's down to Obama (a Marxist) or Romney (Socialist) who are both controlled by the Global Elites, just by different factions within the Global Elites group. So pat yourself on the back, I'm voting for a socialist! Aren't you proud now?
