Seems like there are signs of hope for the future (at least among "Christians"). More young "Christians" are more sort of liberal deist than Christian and that's just a step away from agnostic which is a hair's breadth from atheist. It seems that only about 15% of young x-tains are fanatical.
Now if we can make such progress with Muslims. Unfortunately Islam is being hardened by continual assaults against it. If they can be liberalized too (they'll need more creature comforts and less enemies though) the religion that destroyed the intellectual achievements of the Assyrians will go the same way as the religion that destroyed the intellectual achievements of the Romans and Greek.
Then we'll just have to work an Sikhism and the other smaller delusions - and some day people will have to realize that Judaism is a religion, not a race - things will be looking up.
