Once popular amongst the Victorian poor, it's coming back into fashion!
Most animals can also synthesize vitamin C. Sadly humans are not among them.Although vitamin D is commonly called a vitamin, it is not actually a dietary vitamin, as it can be synthesized by most mammals exposed to sunlight
With humans slathering on sunscreen perhaps we just don't make enough D these days, or maybe too much time indoors. Then again, perhaps the problem is a lack of calcium. Probably poverty playing a role in that somehow.
well, no kidding. I am SO grateful to come from an educated family. The greatest gift I have. The Nice review comes as Prof Davies published a report on children’s health. It said reducing child obesity by one percentage point could save the NHS £1billion a year due to fewer long-term problems.
Every time I go to the UK I'm surprised how pale people are over there. I guess there are much less sun hours over there, despite just being a little hop over the tiny pond.Too much time indoors watching TV, playing video games
he long term solution is always education.
