This year we are down 600K jobs from last year. However, we run around 150K per month average new workers joining the work force. So not only are we down those 600K jobs for the year we're not up the (150*9) 1.3M jobs that we need for the growing workforce. Really we're down 2 Million + jobs for the year.

Another Bank with a big name attached has gone *poof*. Silver State Bank in Nevada went bye-bye. Apparently one of McCain's sons (Andrew McCain) was on the board and on the audit committee. Seems he saw the writing on the wall and left "for personal reasons" in July.
