My wife and I will be in Huntsville on Wed if all goes to plan. Would you be available for an early lunch? I'd invite Wayne too, but I know he is working in Montgomery. The closing is set for 1PM, so we'd have to meet about 11:30AM. Dave (and his wife) would be welcome too of course if available.

Sure! It would be great to see you two again. I know Wayne would love to be here but yes, he now works in Montgomery at Maxwell AFB (seems to like his job.. good for him).

Dave and Vik are no longer in town either. They are out in California (San Diego).

Just let me know when you would like to meet, we can do 1130 or earlier if you wish (I usually go to lunch at 1100 so it's not an early lunch for me).

Do you still have my cell phone number? If not I will send it to you via PM.

It was our pleasure, thanks for lunch! The closing went well without snags. It was hard to do considering we love the house and would rather be there, but it is something we had to do. Sadly we were only members of the Huntsville Mafia for a short period of time. On the plus side, we got a little more back at closing than original expected, so that helped.

And yes, it was funny how Waynebo's name kept coming up :wink:

Actually you know I love to talk about all things airplanes but I am perplexed how you could ever mistake an F-101 (VooDoo) for an F-106 (Dart) or F-102 (Dagger). Still, neat to know what is in MAFB's air park.

There was a time when I was younger, when such things would have never, ever been confused.

Then again, in those days, I actually had commited to memory, such asinine things as D20 dice battle charts and rules of engagement for Dungeons and Dragons (first edition)...

Yes, I even used "magic missle" to "attack the darkness" on occasion.. (bwahahaha)..

Top that off with my collection of Prince albums with which I rocked a cassette player, and you see my point.

Not sure if it is a curse or a blessing but if I am interested in a subject, the info is locked tight in my memory. If I have a passing interest, the info stays just as long. If I don't care, it's pretty much in one ear and out the other.

And thus are the rules for being the King of Useless Information.
