Seems a plausible explanation. Certainly didn't appear to be playing with a full deck at the time.

What the hell kind of crap insurance policy does she have that won't cover you for a naked guy jumping in your sunroof and crashing your car.

Come to think of it... what kind of crap car takes three thousand dollars worth of damage from hitting a tree a strolling speed?
