Interestingly it appears McCain is pulling out of Michigan. It's interesting for me because of the uproar in Michigan (quite a bit from Republicans) on the unfairness of the possibility of not seating Michigan in the primaries. That was supposed to have a reverberating effect as Dems fled the party and flocked to the Republicans. McCain leaving because his money is better spent elsewhere seems to say what the right-wing talking heads claimed didn't happen.
As a side note Minnesota is seen as a key battleground state. I'm still confused on this Obama, except for possibly the week of the Republican convention, has been clearly out front. Recent polls at the state level put Obama at an 11point victory. It'll be interesting next Friday to see what the result of from the VP and 2nd Presidential debate. Talking to people here McCain winning Minnesota likely has a better pay out at the bookies.
