Meteorite in Mexico

A fresh item, only two stories on the web so treat as unconfirmed for now but a large space-rock initially mistaken for a crashing aircraft seems to have smacked into Mexico.

Impact leaves 30m crater.

A fireball that smashed into Central Mexico this week, first thought to have been a meteorite, was actually a falling Russian space satellite.

No problem here.

So far authorities have failed to reach any crash site for the apparent Russian satellite crash.

Mexico doesn't have helicopters :?:
