I don't know if I've been in -60 temps. I have been in the -40 - -50 area. What I can say is anything below -20ish is simply too damn cold. It doesn't matter if it's -20 or -50 it's simply too damn cold. That cold weather is rare and it's generally overnight. It's often too cold for clouds at those temps so the next day is very sunny.
