Some people in the world have vast power compared with the common people and set the political agendas not only for their own countries but also for other peoples. This particular case may be surprising as a small collection of wealthy families pump large amounts of money into another country to influence political outcomes. Three families provided half of the funding for this guy. In fact, 90% of his funds come from foreigners.
