Perhaps it is blood on Wikileaks hands because they "may" have lead to this hanging, but we don't know that and we also don't know if this hanging of a Mossad agent hasn't actually saved lives. Cloak and dagger games are like that.
Perhaps, but what should be troubling is that his involvement isn't solidly proven.Perhaps it is blood on Wikileaks hands because they "may" have lead to this hanging, but we don't know that and we also don't know if this hanging of a Mossad agent hasn't actually saved lives. He might fit the description, but it seems Iran arrested him on mostly a hunch and probably forced a confession out of him. Authoritarian states don't need to punish an actual dissenter, they just need to punish someone they label as a dissenter. The British report Wednesday quotes a UK academic, Birmingham University professor Scott Lucas, speculating that the diplomatic cable may have been a critical piece of evidence or simply a pretext on which to arrest Fashi. “It could have been used as a pretext against him; to set him up as a person who could take the fall for the assassination,” Lucas said.
There is nothing in the US document pertaining to Israel.
That's my general reason for opposing the death penalty. Too open to abuse. You can pick up just about anybody, kill them and then say "case closed" with no troublesome prisoner protesting their innocence for years and years.Perhaps, but what should be troubling is that his involvement isn't solidly proven.
if it's true, outstanding!!
If that makes you happy, you will be more then happy to hear the Iranian Courts have also condemned three men to death for being homosexuals.
Plus it's good entrainment the whole family can take part in.I'm sure that half the population of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, ... etc. etc. could get behind that sort of thing -specially if it's death by stoning: it's more biblical.
