Tbh I was half afraid of admitting to throwing those two ingredients into the pan together given your Italian heritage, I'm sure some food lover out there will die just a little upon reading of my abuse of such great foodstuffs.

The Ravioli consisted of slow cooked beef in red wine and cheddar cheese, whilst the tortelloni had spinach and riccota (also a hint of nutmeg) in it.

We tend to bake the bones until they go dark brown/black, then dump them into a pan of boiling water for the black to lift off as the base for gravy stock.

dried beans are easy - just soak overnight and then cook. adding whatever. lots of protein. yum yum
