FYI, Mo Brooks is the Congressional Representative from the 5th Alabama District (covering North Alabama, including Huntsville).

MSNBC's Contessa Brewer was debating with Congressman Brooks (R) over the bailout and stated that without it, the US would be in a depression. Mo disagreed and that's when Contessa thought she would "educate" Mo. It turns out that Mo educated her.

Yeah Mo Brooks!!!!!

My only regret is that the video cuts off before you really get to see Contessa try to back paddle... hehe. :D

EDIT: My thanks to Mo Brooks for hosting the entire 7 minute interview on his website (redirected from YouTube). The conversation in question takes place around 4:45.

Great stuff! It warms my heart to see a liberal hack put into her place.

"What? Do you have a degree in economics?"
"Yes, I do." :p

Hahaha..... fantastic.

Mo is an interesting person. He's come up through the political ranks and definitly can speak on any political subject with experience and authority. He's been a deputy District Attorney (deputy prosecuter), District Attorney, county commissioner, state congressman and now US Congressman. He (thankfully) replaced former Congressman Parker Griffith (D) who was an embaressment (even by Alabama standards).

Even people in the 5th district who disagree with him politically will tell you that they respect him because he means what he says. You don't get "double talk" (aka "Patomic Two Step") from Mo.

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall at MSNBC after that interview ended. :)
