music interlude II

Actually, I'm gonna put up another one from Rod's channel (EverydayMusicTV). It's along the same lines as watchlistentell, but out of Vancouver. He set himself the goal of posting 1000 videos in 1000 days. I'm continually amazed at how good the sound is he gets. All of these are just straight to the mic on the camera.

That is impressive. I was wondering where the reverb was coming from before I realised he wasn't completely out in the open.

This guy is, it turns out, not well known. It seems like his stuff is hard to come by and the internet doesn't help as much as I thought it would. He's local Vancouver guy, at least he was - so many of them leave for Toronto to get a bit more exposure, but I remember him form the early 90s and he's still active. This is Stephen Fearing doing one of my favourite songs of his. It's great to see him live but this is pretty good too. Beautiful Joni Mitchell quote in here as well.

my gawd... i am sooo sorry about this but i've been cooped up for days with 7 children... of the almost 300 million views i'm pretty sure 10 000 came from one of my four computers...

Great song. When we first found out Lisa was pregnant, I posted the video for Teardrop on Facebook. No one of course clued in, but I thought it was rather appropriate (and no, not because of House).

Here's some good, wholesome beeping, buzzing and bopping goodness:
