Before there were iPods!

The motor works and it plays records, but there is no volume. Should be repairable and the condition is pretty good considering the age, which is late 50's AFAIK.

Wow. A portable music player. But will it ever catch on?

(BTW, last time I bought a needle for my turntable it cost $60!!)
