Ok, ran the benchmark:
ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 [Tegra 3 T30 1.4Ghz quad-core, Android 4.1, Chrome ]
- Performance Mode: 131,625
- Balanced Mode: 116, 473
- Power Saving Mode: 89,784
I typically run it in Balanced mode and it lasts for days without charging. I noticed in the power saving mode the screen turned off in mid-test, which may have affected the benchmark, but oh well. The Nexus 7 should get close to those numbers as it uses a Tegra 3 T30L 1.2Ghz quad-core. Not bad for $200. Btw, the power saving, balanced and performance modes are an ASUS addition to the OS, not sure what "mode" the Nexus 7 would be in, my guess is closer to Balanced.
As for the discrepancy from what you posted the benchmark should be, I'm guessing they used the default browser that came with Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0), which is not Chrome. Chrome will be the default, if not already. But those numbers seem outdated. Likewise, I'm sure IE10's numbers will get much better as well.
Oh, and just for the hell of it:
Nexus S [1ghz Hummingbird single core, Android 4.1, Chrome]: 59,303
