Amusing. Though I suspect CAM followers will buy this with reckless abandon.

As for Everest... On May 8th, 1978 Messner and Habeler for the first recorded time summited Everest w/o bottled air. So no, one doesn't have to bring oxygen. Though it makes it a hell of a lot easier.
