Islamic Fundamentalist offers 10M Turkish lira for anyone that has proof positive of an intermediatary fossil.

Of course this is really a cry to keep outing him as a blooming idiot. Scientists should ignore this.

Turkish Lira is 1 Lira ~ .70 dollar US ~ .41 pound British

So ~4M Pounds or 7M Dollars.

The other problem is that these people like to ask to see transitionals, but they really mean chimeras. If you don't bring them something that is half mouse and half snail they'll not call it a transitional. So, they are asking for people to bring forth fossils that disprove evolution in order to prove it, which nobody can do since that sort of evidence counter to evolution does not exist.

He is offering one imaginary thing in exchange for another. If he was asking for true transitionals that money wouldn't last a minute - but he wouldn't be able to cover the bet anyway.

In the world of "creation" that will not do. The Platypus is clearly not transitional because it is 100% platypus. It isn't half something else.

On the one hand, in reality all animals that have offspring are transitional. I am transitional between my mother and father and my son and daughter. For evolution it is pretty much impossible to find something that isn't a transitional. Only extinct lines don't form transitionals to living creatures today, yet they likely are transitional to other, later extinct animals.

On the other hand, creationists define transitionals as non-existent and therefore they won't ever recognize one.
