I know Obama has allowed the horrific NDAA, and he didn't do nearly what he promised in so many ways and he's only getting out of Iraq because the Iraqis are refusing to let America stay - and the economy that took a couple of decades to set up for failure and broke before he was elected still isn't fixed three and some years later I just went back and watched an old video I hadn't seen for a while that someone had reposted on youtube.
It's a bit long but it gives the impression of the headlong dash to Fascism that was under way back then.
In a way that was better than the slower pace we have now because it got people anxious enough to start speaking out. Now we may be lulled into complacency as the administration lets people settle into the new status quo and then tweaks it up a little at a time.
And let's not forget what it looks like when well connected businessmen run a war.
