I'm just doing my regular lunch hour crossword in the local free daily rag when I come upon 34 down, four letters.

Turns out, the fourth letter of "fasten" (49 across) is the last letter of 34 down.


... and the clue is "Fanny"!

If you are British then your first guess is probably wrong.

Although the second letter is probably still 'U'.
