In a chilling move sure to rile defenders of civil liberties, an FBI agent also accused Rosen of breaking the law with behavior that—at least as described—falls inside the bounds of traditional news reporting.

The revelations surfaced with President Barack Obama’s administration already under fire for seizing two months of telephone records of reporters and editors at the Associated Press. Obama last week said he makes “no apologies” for investigations into national security-related leaks. The AP's CEO, Gray Pruitt, said Sunday that the seizure was "unconstitutional."

The Obama administration has prosecuted twice as many leakers as all previous administrations combined.

I think this 'scandal' is probably the best possible use of the 'watergate' moniker that the Republicans assign to everything. Snarky comment - Heck, I'm getting ready to see more of the ObamahadasmokeGATE.

And indeed the Obama Admin has prosecuted twice as many leakers. Doesn't mean those leakers were wrongly prosecuted. Many looked to have indeed done the crime they were charged for. Though that the Obama Admin is better at prosecution does tell people which behaviors are acceptable and which are not within his Administration. Now for instance, I wouldn't expect someone in the Obama Administration to oust an American Spy and neither be fired nor tried for that action.
