Bush left a nearly $1.3Trillon deficit per year. Obama's 2012 is spending is projected to be at $1.1 Trillon. A $200Billion reduction in the deficit compared to the year before. 2013 looks even better. LINK

USA debt is at a 6 year low. Fiscally in a better position than when the AAA bond rating was cut. LINK

Your numbers are a bit better than the article. $1.41Trillion in 2009 - Budget passed in the Bush Congress for spending. Most of that spending signed by Bush. During that time we've had Obama Tax cuts and been able to drop the deficit to $300Billion less, again according to your numbers. Thanks MetalMan for the confirming graph.
