East recovers from record-setting snowfall
http://www.newjerseynewsroom.com/nation ... g-snowfall

Residents of the mid-Atlantic United States face the daunting task of digging out from another record-setting blizzard that dumped more than 75 centimeters of snow.

This the second major snow storm to hit the Middle Atlantic region in less than two months. It knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of people and caused at least two deaths.

According to the National Weather Service, the heaviest blizzard on record dumped 72 centimeters in the Washington, D.C. area in January 1922.

“Snowmageddon” Versus “Overwhelming Scientific Evidence”
http://spectator.org/blog/2010/02/08/sn ... overwhelmi

This is the first time since record keeping started that two storms of such magnitude have hit the region during one winter. Already some localities are reporting the largest snowfall ever recorded.

To be sure, these events do not prove or disprove human caused global warming. But the momentum is now very much on the side of skeptical scientists who question these theories and President Obama should at least pull back from his awkward juxtapositions.

I think the momentum is only on the side of scientists who happen to live in Southern US. Here up North we're not having the coldest winter ever, nor have we had any major blizzards. You know when people talk about Global Warming or Climate Change, they're actually talking about the weather not just in the US, but elsewhere too.

Second cold snap set to sweep across Britain with more snow and ice
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/weath ... d-ice.html

Snow and ice is set to sweep Britain this week, with temperatures plummeting below freezing as the coldest winter for more 30 years tightens its grip.

You haven't been paying attention? Here are some other posts from me in the last few months.
