The former KGB spy then invited Obama for a black caviar breakfast -- complete with a Russian samovar, smoked beluga, pancakes and tea -- on the terrace of his residence.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beluga_(sturgeon)

IUCN classifies the beluga as Endangered. It is a protected species listed in appendix III of the Bern Convention and its trade is restricted under CITES appendix II. The Mediterranean population is strongly protected under appendix II of the Bern Convention, prohibiting any intentional killing of these fish.

The United States Fish and Wildlife Service has banned imports of Beluga Caviar and other beluga products from the Caspian Sea since October 6, 2005.

What a knuckle dragger Obama is

Well certainly not the looking into Putin's eyes to enjoy his soul that Bush had. :roflmao:

Banning imports? I don't get that so did the USA import the eggs then ship them back to Russia so they could eat it? So this is illegal by rules of the US Wildlife Service?

what I find interesting is that if you look at the history of that wiki page there's a 'back and forth' editing between a "Juniorxin" and a "RutgerH" as one removes and the other puts back this part of the article.

now THAT is comedy! :roflmao:

Q. If you saw an endangered animal eating an endangered plant, what would you do?

On a more serious note, is there evidence that any of your previous presidents would have declined such a meal, on the grounds that the species was endangered?

And if he had refused it, some would no doubt rant about him being rude to his host.

You're too funny Red. Putin is the guy who ordered that dish. What's Obama supposed to do? Let's not forget, it was Bush who thought this murderous Putin was his friend - and by murderous I'm not talking about killing fish.

Honestly Red, it's no big deal. Why are you even mentioning such an inconsequential thing when you could be pointing out far worse things about Obama - like he keeps upholding the worst of Bush/Cheney. God knows what he's up to right now with the expanded surveillance powers that Bush/Cheney gave him.

I'm having a laugh, I thought it was funny and ironic. But you are right, Obama is an easy target, I could make post after post.

The trick here Red is not to pick the "low hanging fruit". It's too easy for the cult of Obama to dismiss these items. If you're gonna post, pick something that takes longer to research and then blast away.

Good luck,

White House Releases Names Of Health Industry Executives Who Visited White House

By Brian Beutler - July 22, 2009, 8:46PM

President Obama noted this in his press conference, but, after the group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington threatened to file suit, he's released a list of executives who've attended White House health care meetings.

There aren't any big surprises. In a letter, White House counsel Gregory Craig writes "Given the compelling public interest in the health care debate...[t]he President has decided to exercise his discretion and release" the names of the visitors. They include, among several others, PhRMA president Bill Tauzin and AHIP president Karen Ignagni, both of whom were known to have participated in negotiations with the administration.

The initial call not to release the information came from the Secret Service, but Obama quickly reversed their decision
