Cueno went on to opine: "The number of useful idiots who have unwittingly served the Communist cause since then speaks well for the diligence of Lenin's disciples."
Indeed. Consider a few of Lenin's other choice quotes:
"The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation."
"The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency."
And my personal favorite:
"The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses."
And there it is, direct from the pen of the original practicing Communist himself: Crush the bourgeoisie (soak the rich); debauch the currency (create inflation by printing money with nothing to back it); and use the media (as propagandists, agitators and organizers).

AND HERE

These Wall Street protesters? Purely Left Wing hacks. Useful idiots. They're being used by known communist sympathizers like Van Jones, a former czar in the Obama Administration, who recently remarked, "In New York City, the Occupy Wall Street movement is standing up for the victims of Wall Street."
No, they want Obama re-elected by any means necessary. And these folks, unlike the Tea Party members, actually have been violent and clashed with police. How's that been reported on your nightly news channel?
These riots are spreading across the nation, and you can blame Obama for helping to incite them. He's openly played the class warfare card, and he recently said this about the protesters: "It expresses the frustrations that the American people feel that we had the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression, huge collateral damage all throughout the country, all across Main Street."
Keep in mind, it was just about a month ago that union leader Jimmy Hoffa told Obama in Detroit that unions were ready to take out the Tea Party "SOBs." "We are your army," he said.
Well, the army is marching.
This is class warfare - socialism in action - that we're seeing right now.
And honestly, friends, the violence is going to get worse.
A sad day for America.
And you can blame Obama and his supporters for that.

OWS doesn't have a centralized leading force. You have a large group of people asking to be lead in a semi-related direction. There's likely as many opinions are there are people. The plus for the Dems is the concept of many opinions fit under one roof is their working order. (I don't belong to an organized party, I'm a Democrat - Will Rogers) The negative is for the Republicans, who appear to have a more lock-step approach.

Either way if these people are going to vote and we continue to be limited to 1 more choice than Russia then 1 of those 2 choices is going to have to include these people.

Your first quote:
Cueno went on to opine: "The number of useful idiots who have unwittingly served the Communist cause since then speaks well for the diligence of Lenin's disciples."

Could equally well apply to the Tea Party or even better to the religious right who have no idea what's in the Bible for the most part but are willing to vote for whatever the pastor tells them to. Lots of people accept things uncritically just because people they respect (because they are rich, because they are powerful, or some equally shallow reason) say them or they hear them a lot in the group they hang with. People with power love telling other people how worthy they are of their power or riches, for e.g., and because they are powerful or rich a lot of simple minded people will accept those rationalizations. You have to look at more concrete evidence than someone's say-so. The guy that's scamming you of your savings is always telling you how trustworthy he is, and what a scammer those other guys are.

"The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency."
But wait? Wall Street and the private banking club called the Federal Reserve are behind this inflation. They drove up the real estate bubble and then twisted the arms of all their friends in government to borrow from them to prop them up. The bankers debauched the US dollar, not Lenin. Why do you then make fun of the people trying to make an issue of this. Do you want them to shut up so that the bankers can go back to their quiet lives of perpetual silent theft?

"The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses."
They ARE, red. They are. They are working to turn the population against their own interests just as they normally do - keep the people calmed with junk TV and sports - irrelevant celebrity gossip and distractions. The media doesn't really want to talk about the problems, they want to rally people for the next war, demean anyone who thinks that certain groups within the government and corporate world might be working for their own power and wealth instead of the good of the people, they still want you to believe that greed is good and that your overlords have the God given right to rule and anyone who questions what's going on is elitist or a pinhead or a commie - that anyone who gets their news from a place not controlled by the corporate media is a tinfoil hatter.

People have a natural distrust, it seems, for state owned media because they have a sense that it will push state friendly propaganda - and that is a reasonable apprehension - yet people seem to have no qualms that corporate owned media might be pushing corporate friendly propaganda. It could be that people are stupid. It could also be that people are NOT stupid, but you won't hear about those kind of people on TV because the corporations would rather that you feel like you are the only non-stupid one surrounded by a sea of idiots who you have nothing in common with so couldn't ally yourself with. Divide and conquer.
