Occupy Wall Street demonstrators are scheduled to march on five major banks and financial services firms in Manhattan Friday, a day after a California mayor apologized for violence against demonstrators that saw them tear gassed and an Iraqi war veteran hospitalized.

The spin machine is in full gear! Those pulling the media strings probably cannot believe their luck that an Iraqi war vetern was injured during the riots^h^h^h^h^h peaceful demonstration.

The spin machine huh? No, the spin machine will start up if that particular Iraq war veteran ever decides to run for public office; his name will be dragged through the mud and be called a traitor.

The spin machine is in a frenzy indeed. You should know - you are plugged right in to it. It feeds you your lines and I can hear that in your typing just as I can with metalman, Dammy and Fade. You are sucking on the feeding tubes of some very well financed PR machines.

Instead of covering the issues that the OWS want to talk about the PR companies aer busy finding weirdos and holding them up as a distraction. The PR companies are trying to paint the OWS as brainless. Lok at the anti-semite, not at the banker that broke your economy. Look at the chick with the stoopid pink hair (yuk yuk) instead of the fact that unemployment is at 20% and it wasn't caused by a drumming circle.

Don't look at the fact that fraudulent mortgages and corrupt financial practices are to blame and don't even think about regulating the industry again the way it was because you can't let the hippies and hobos win!!!

When peaceful protesters are attacked en masse by the police then they will tell you it's the protesters rioting. Anybody who takes a hit from the system who might be some kind of hero or martyr to the cause will be mercilessly made fun of so that they can't become a symbol - that's classic PR work.

The government is absolutely bought by the biggest richest corporations and those corporations are writing all the laws and dismantling your protections and there is absolutely no way that the PR companies they hire want you to talk about that - they want you to talk about scary unions, lazy teachers, people who are (deliberately) unemployed and leave the poor crooks who broke the country alone. Don't they deserve more respect and privacy than ... well, normal citizens?

If there was no spin we would all be talking about the actual issues not about whether the kitchen staff were fed up with the moochers.

@Fluffy

You are still missing the forest for the trees.

what do the "Occupy" crowd want???
it's very simple..............

the fu*king rich (banks/oil co's/murdoch media liars/ etc) caused this economic mess and THEY should pay for it.

the wall street bastards let madoff rip people off and should go the jail (for example)

the poor and middle class are sick and tired of being the patsy of the fu*king rich
